Thumbed cars going from Sobotka westward to Boleslav/Prague. Got a ride eventually. You can try directly on the freeway too but the speeds seemed too high to have a good chance of a ride

Very good gas station for hitchhiking. We were standing with a sign (CZ written on it) at the gas station exit. We managed to stop someone who was going directly to Prague!

Easy to reach, a long bus stop with wide space for cars to stop and good visibility for cars (driving moderately fast). I thumbed without sign and after 10 mins got a ride to Brno, and dropped me at a good gas station directly on the highway (Lískovec) where I could very easily continue north to Prague. Seems like a very good place overall!

I was semi-asleep while switching cars here, because it was the middle of the night, and I was sleeping in the truck that got me here, so take this message with a grain of salt. This was a good spot, a lot of trucks, and I found a car with a Czech licence plate willing to take me all the way to Prague.

Most people from here are going to Liberec, but with a bit of luck they also head towards Prague. You might also find someone going towards Železný Brod. A sign is useful here.

Hitchhiked here many times — average waiting time around 3 minutes. Perfect spot heading towards Prague! :)

There is a huge space for cars to stop, and the traffic is pretty dense. A guy took me (single male) to Prague after 25 minutes

Two people, from Prague to Krkonoše; We took a train to Horní Počernice, from where we went to a gas station. We waited at the exit, and after a few minutes, off-duty firefighters took us to Krkonoše.

in theory this is the best you got in order to escape the north of Vienna (hell) workday morning was very tough, but I persevered and reached Prague in 6 hours even with horrible luck. please ask to take you to gas stations, direct rides to brno or prague are very unlikely.

Absolutely the best spot towards Prague. Slow cars, good spot to stop, could be seen easily by drivers. Hitched from here a lot of times times and never waited here for more than 10 minutes. Only problem is getting here, but if you can convince your driver to drop you off here, you are guaranteed to get nice ride.

To be honest, not the greatest spot, but the best, when it comes to car going from Prague to Slaný and you need to get to Chomutov. Ask around, you only need ride to Lotouš and from there it's easy. (Look up Lotouš place I created) Not a lot of cars stopping here, but you don't need long ride.

We waited on the highway. I would recommend bigger sign because cars are going fast there. Got ride to Prague quickly

Nice place, great for Prague, you can get here by train from main station in Brno, the station is Stary Liskovec. There is a hole, you can go through and then you climb a small bank filled with trash and you are there

Good spot to wait, very easy for cars to pull over and stop just after the lights. Mostly seemed like local traffic though so went ignored by about 200 cars before someone pulled over. On my way to Prague and got a lift to Dresden from here

The first large petrol station west of Prague. Great spot for getting rides further west (Pilsen, Germany). (1 M, 1 F)

Extremely good spot in Prague direction, almost all of the cars go that way and I would even alvise not to take any half way, but all the way to Prague, if it's your destination. Not so good going to Chomutov direction though.
