Very good spot towards Czechia, almost all cars will go there. If you're lucky you can get a ride to Prague, else it's easy to get out after the border and find a new carrating: 5/5, wait: 15 min

I use this place regularly, Sign necessary, best place for Liberec, Dresden and Hradec directions. Mixed trafic from west Prague pass by tunnel blanka and continue in all these directions. That is why you need a sign. Don't forget thumbs up.rating: 5/5, wait: 10 min, ride: 60 km ↗

Very busy spot. We actually got dropped on our way from Berlin on the otherside of the highway. Luckily, it is quite easy to walk here from the other side. You go through field, under bridge and at the beginning on the gas station were unlocked doors, so it was not necessary to go all the way behind the gas station to its exit. We got ride to our final destination of the day - Prague.rating: 5/5, wait: 28 min 🪧, ride: 163 km ↘

Awesome spot, but people from Prague are not stopping as often. A lot of place for car to stop. Easy to get north (Germany)rating: 4/5, wait: 60 min 🪧, ride: 61 km ↖

We were very lucky and the first driver we approached agreed to get us a ride to Prague. The place is very busy and I believe you will definitely find someone going to Prague who will take you.rating: 5/5, wait: 1 min 💬+🪧, ride: 160 km ↖

A great spot for stopping a ride to Brno/Prague. Even though we started late in the evening (like two hours till sunset), we knew getting a ride towards Czechia will be quite easy since there are so many cars with czech/german/polish plates here, however most of the cars were austrian plates going back southbound. Most to the drivers were kind, responding (boosted our hopes and morale). In the end managed to secure a lift 70km beyond Brno.rating: 5/5, wait: 60 min 🪧, ride: 150 km ↖

Probably the best spot for hitchhiking from Budapest towards Vienna/Bratislava/Prague, you have to take a train from Budapest city centre and then a 3 km walk to get here though. Used thumbs up and sign Wien/Bratislava, snatched a ride after like 90 minutes (2 people), a single seat ride was offered to us after like 30 minutes.rating: 4/5, wait: 90 min 🪧, ride: 247 km ↖

It doesn't seem like a good place. Cars have no way to stop here but just on the road itself. But I was very lucky and sweeet Turkish couple stopped for me right on the road to pick me up and drive me whole way to Prague. I guess you can give it a try if you're desperaterating: 4/5, wait: 15 min 🪧, ride: 141 km ↘

As a Wrocław resident I always hitchhike from this spot towards German or Czech border,if u r lucky enough u can get straitght to Prague or Dresden. While hitchhiking towards Prague make sure u stay conected to A4 highway and then to S3/E65.Hitchhiking through S8/E67 is barely possible.Out of 10 rides the longest waiting time was 30 minutes, rly recomend this spotrating: 5/5, wait: 20 min, ride: 282 km ←

Very good spot to catch someone going to Prague. It’s the last station in Karlovy Vary. There’s a shop nearby so a lot of people are local, doing their shopping. Some lauries stopping as well. To get here you take a bus number 3 androgenów for 13 minutes. You can buy tickets inside of the bus. Then you see this station after arriving to this stop (also last stop on this line). In the end I highly recommend this spot.rating: 5/5, wait: 10 min, ride: 110 km →

We got a lift to Prague an hour after being dropped here on a Sunday. Talking to drivers or truckers is necessary, there was at least 11 when we passed through. Traffic driving by is going too fast so unless they're already pulling over to the truck stop you wont have luck signing them to slow. Would avoid getting dropped here in future though, felt like we got lucky after an hour and could have been there all night.rating: 3/5, wait: 60 min 💬+🪧, ride: 112 km ↘
